Mrs. Priyanka leads the assessment and counselling team at Chennai DMIT. With qualifications spanning Psychology, Education, Montessori pedagogy, and clinical practice, she built this centre around one belief: every learner deserves guidance based on who they truly are, not a generic template.

Most people make big decisions about education and career based on what others expect, what seems popular, or what worked for someone else. Chennai DMIT exists to give people something more reliable to start from – a clear picture of how their own mind is naturally wired.
We use the Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) – a fingerprint-based assessment that reveals innate intelligence, personality, and learning style. The data is biologically fixed from before birth, so the insight you get does not shift with mood, age, or circumstance.
Chennai DMIT is an initiative by Merit Teacher, and is led by Mrs. Priyanka – a counsellor with credentials across psychology, education, and clinical practice. Every assessment is followed by a personal session, so you leave with understanding, not just a report.
She Did Not Take
the Short Route
Mrs. Priyanka built her qualifications one by one, across disciplines, because she wanted to understand learners from every angle before ever interpreting a single fingerprint. She studied psychology at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, trained in Montessori methodology for child-led learning, and completed clinical psychology at A Grade from Asha Hospital’s Institute of Medical Psychology.
That combination is rare in this field. Most DMIT practitioners are trained narrowly on the test itself. Mrs. Priyanka brings academic psychology, clinical insight, and pedagogy into every reading she gives – which is why Chennai DMIT reports tend to go deeper than a standard intelligence printout.
Her work spans individual DMIT assessments, career counselling for students from Grade 9 through postgraduate level, an invited lecture at Hindustan College of Arts and Science, and public speaking coaching for students who have gone on to represent their institutions at state and national level. Chennai DMIT operates under Merit Teacher, where she also leads broader educational training.

BA Triple Honours

B.Ed and M.Ed

Montessori Diploma
Formal training in Montessori methodology – where children lead their own learning journey at their own pace. This shapes how Chennai DMIT designs sessions for younger learners, working with natural curiosity rather than against it.
Cambridge CIDTT
The Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers – a globally recognised standard for educators. It validates the ability to design, deliver, and assess learning to an international benchmark, placing Mrs. Priyanka among the top tier of certified trainers worldwide.
Clinical Psychology – Asha Hospital
Completed at A Grade from Asha Hospital’s Institute of Medical Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy. The clinical background allows Mrs. Priyanka to identify emotional blocks and confidence barriers that most educators are not trained to recognise or address.
